Sunday School and Nursery Care
Sunday School at St.James is a fun, welcoming, and safe place for kids to develop their own faith!

Children are always welcome at St. James. Children's activity bags are available in the Narthex for parents to bring into the santuary. The greeters at the door can assist you in locating them.

Time:
Children enter the sanctuary and sit with their family for the beginning of the church service at 10:00 AM. Following a time of interactive storytelling with our Minister, Patricia James, the children and their teachers meet together downstairs.  All the children join together in one classroom for an opening prayer and candle lighting, bible story activities and crafts.

Teachers:
We thank our Sunday school teachers for their commitment to our program. We hear from our children, and we see in their faces, the enjoyment and value of our teachers' ministry to our children.

Sunday School Curriculum:
We have some excellent resources and, where possible, follow the Common Lectionary to link worship and the lesson materials that are used in the Sunday school classes.

Nursery Care:
Our Nursery Care (infant to age 3) has been on hold as a result of Covid-19. If you would like to arrange nursery care for your child during the church service, please contact the church office and we will make every effort to accomodate your needs.
